Corn Exchange stop Moreton-in-Marsh Gloucestershire

As you can see from the pictures, this bus stop was right outside the Corn Exchange. Cars parking all along the side of the pavement meant that the bus was forced out into the road - blocking the traffic and creating a fairly dangerous experience for Moreton-in-Marsh's more senior residents. It was far from ideal.

That's where we can help. Creating a large hard standing that protruded into the parking area, we ensure that we provided a safe zone for passengers to congregate and wait for their bus. And, the bus can actually pull to the left out of the way of traffic on the road. As well as that, the very large (6.7m x 6.5m) build-out/hard-standing was compliant with DDA requirements and we managed to get a new, smart, four-bay bus shelter installed as well.

A great job and the difference made to the bus users is considerable.
